B. Rae Grosz (she/they), also known as Rusty, is a Pittsburgh-born writer and aspiring bog body. Her short fiction has been published by Crow & Cross Keys, Orchid’s Lantern Volume 1: Dreams, the My Say in the Matter charity anthology, and Horror Tree’s Trembling With Fear. She also has additional work forthcoming, including a self-published collection of ghost stories.
In addition to her fiction, Rusty writes a blog of musings about stories she reads and occasionally leads online creative writing workshops and gives talks based on inspirations behind her writing, such as the song “Gloomy Sunday” and the legends surrounding it, the “spiritualistic science” of Thomas Lynn Bradford, and the history behind the story of The Pied Piper of Hamelin.
