B. Rae Grosz (she/they), also known as Rusty, is a Pittsburgh-born writer and aspiring bog body. Her short fiction has been published by Crow & Cross Keys, Orchid’s Lantern Volume 1: Dreams, the My Say in the Matter charity anthology, and Horror Tree’s Trembling With Fear. She has additional work forthcoming, including a self-published collection of ghost stories.

In addition to her fiction, Rusty writes sporadic blog posts, occasionally leads online creative writing workshops, and gives talks based on the research that has informed her writing, including the song “Gloomy Sunday” and the legends surrounding it, the “spiritualistic science” of Thomas Lynn Bradford, the history behind the story of The Pied Piper of Hamelin, the tragedy of The Lost Children of the Alleghenies, and the writer Mary Roberts Rinehart.
